10am - Cardio-Cancan with Red Velvet
Each Cardio-Cancan class starts with a ballet based warmup and stretching. Then we go over specific steps and techniques for cancan kick lines, traveling steps and turns. Finally, get your heart pumping with flirty cancan choreography! We end with a cool down and stretching.  It’s so much fun, you won’t even realize you are working out!  ALL LEVELS OF FLEXIBILITY AND DANCE EXPERIENCE WELCOME!  This class has been designed to provide an introduction to classic ballet techniques in a comfortable environment for those who have never taken formal dance classes before. At the same time, experienced dancers will enjoy the sense of play, enjoyment and sensuality in the class, which can be hard to find in many traditional ballet studios.  For this class, you will want to bring a petticoat or full skirt, if you have one, and be sure to wear flat dance shoes you’ll feel be able to hop, kick and dance in, rather than heels!

11am - Theatrical Makeup with Vivian MirAnn
Have you ever wondered how some performers' facial features can be seen clearly onstage, even from the back of the theater? Do you feel that your makeup literally pales in comparison next to others? Did you ever have the desire to alter your facial shape for a particular act, but had no idea how to do so? If you've ever grappled with the questions above, then this class is for you! Whether you're a newbie to the stage or a seasoned performer, you know that makeup is just as important on the stage as your costume or choreography. You'll learn ways to create depth in eye makeup, highlighting techniques for brow, cheeks, and lips, and even ways to reshape your body using simple makeup techniques to fool the eye. Culled from years of experience working in burlesque, pinup, fetish shows and with her drag sisters, Vivian's tips and techniques will provide you with countless ways to create new faces for yourself for film, stage and beyond. Students should bring with them the following; A hand- or free-standing tabletop mirror Clips or scarf to hold back hair Makeup remover wipes Personal makeup kits including cosmetic brushes, sponges, cream and liquid foundations, powder foundation such as a brush-on mineral powder, eyeshadows, etc. Students are encouraged to purchase a small container of black or near-black eyeshadow, as well as a medium-brown eyeshadow or blush for a few special tricks!
